Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury. We have a shared vision, united in love, service and faith with Jesus Christ at the centre of all that we do, inspiring our pursuit of excellence so that our schools can work together to improve the outcomes, experiences and future life chances of our children and young people.
Formed in 2014 as Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Academy Trust, we were renamed in 2023 to Our Lady Help of Christians, the patron saint of the Diocese of Shrewsbury. On September 1st 2025 we begin the academic year as a family of fifteen schools

Our schools are more than buildings. They are part of something bigger. OLHOC schools are deeply connected to their local communities. Pupils and staff regularly take part in local events, support parish life and contribute to initiatives that serve those in need. From food bank collections to Remembrance services, we teach our children that faith and action belong together. This sense of service is a vital part of our ethos. It teaches pupils that they have a role to play in their communities and that every small act of kindness matters. Tell us how your school connects with its community – we would love to share your story. #ValuesLed #Community #OLHOC #SchoolCommunity #FoodBank #RememberanceService #FaithSchool

One of the most joyful things about being part of a Trust like OLHOC is sharing in each other's successes. Whether it is a school receiving a brilliant Ofsted report, pupils winning an award, or a staff member going above and beyond, we celebrate it together. These are the moments that build community, remind us why we do what we do, and show what is possible when schools support each other. We encourage staff and parents to follow us and check out the other schools in our family. You can see them all on the website. #OLHOC #SchoolSuccess #CatholicEducation #CatholicSchool

Amazing work. Thank you so much all involved. A very emotional day for all All Hallows Catholic College

In every OLHOC school, there are moments that might seem small from the outside but have a lasting impact on the children experiencing them. A quiet word of encouragement before a test. A helping hand in the playground. A creative breakthrough in art. A moment of prayer and reflection at the start of the day. These moments shape confidence, build resilience and help young people feel known and valued. They are the foundations of a great education and the reason our schools focus on the whole child, not just outcomes. We will always celebrate the achievements, but we also see the beauty in the everyday. #Reflection #SmallMoments #Celebrate #CatholicEducation #OLHOC

A great school starts with great people. When you walk into any OLHOC school, you will find calm classrooms, confident pupils and a strong sense of purpose. That does not happen by chance. It starts with the people at the heart of our schools. We believe in investing in our staff at every stage of their journey. Whether someone is just beginning their career as a teacher or stepping into leadership, we provide training, mentorship and space to grow professionally, personally and spiritually. When our staff feel supported and equipped, it creates stronger schools, better outcomes and happier pupils. That is what we aim for, across the Trust. #CatholicSchool #Teachers #SchoolStaff #SchoolLeaders

In OLHOC schools, faith is woven into the rhythm of daily life. It is present in the way pupils treat one another, in the moments of quiet reflection, and in the acts of kindness that go unseen but never unnoticed. Whether pupils are preparing for a liturgy, taking part in collective worship, or simply learning how to live out our shared values, faith is not something separate from education. It shapes the culture of our schools and helps children grow not only academically, but spiritually and morally too. Across the Trust, every school lives out this mission in its own way, but always with the same heart. How does your school community live out its values? #OLHOC #ValuesLed #Liturgy #Worship #DioceseofShrewsbury
