Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury. We have a shared vision, united in love, service and faith with Jesus Christ at the centre of all that we do, inspiring our pursuit of excellence so that our schools can work together to improve the outcomes, experiences and future life chances of our children and young people.
Formed in 2014 as Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Academy Trust, we were renamed in 2023 to Our Lady Help of Christians, the patron saint of the Diocese of Shrewsbury. On September 1st 2025 we begin the academic year as a family of fifteen schools

What does a values-led education look like? In OLHOC schools, it's seen in every classroom interaction, every act of kindness, and every moment of service. Our values – honourable purpose, respect, cooperation, compassion and stewardship – are not just words. They guide the way we teach, the way we lead and the way we treat one another. It's an education that nurtures both academic success and strong moral character. #OLHOCValues #CatholicSchoolsUK #FaithInAction #WholeChildEducation #OLHOC

One of the greatest strengths of being part of the OLHOC Trust is the sense of unity between our schools. Each one is unique, serving its own community, but we are all connected by a shared mission: to provide a high-quality, values-led education for every child. When one school needs support, we are there. When one school innovates or improves, we learn from it. Headteachers meet regularly, staff share good practice, and new ideas move quickly across the Trust. Together, we work smarter, grow faster and deliver more for our pupils. This collaboration is not just a benefit for staff – it makes a real difference in classrooms. It strengthens teaching, broadens opportunities, and ensures that every OLHOC school continues to thrive. #olhoc #catholiceducation #catholicschools #education #catholicethos

Being part of OLHOC means being part of something greater than one school. It means belonging to a family of Catholic schools that share not only faith and values, but also expertise, resources and a deep commitment to helping every child thrive. Each OLHOC school retains its own unique identity, history and community, but we're united by a common purpose – to deliver excellent education rooted in compassion, service and care. This week we were delighted to welcome Andrew Cook (Ofsted National Director, Delivery) to the Trust. We were able to engage in real thought provoking dialogue with Andrew about the new Ofsted framework; rationale and practical arrangements. We then visited All Hallows Catholic College and Christ the King primary school to see our amazing young people in action and to continue the conversation. #ofstednewframework #ofsted #catholiceducation #inclusion
